The Sales Engineer will work with the sales team, direct accounts and sales channels to achieve financial goals established as part of Unitronics sales and growth plans. This is an inside sales role which plays a critical role in the entire sales cycle.

Responsibilities:

  1. Research Construction Projects, new markets and leads.
  2. Generate quotations based on technical specification.
  3. Assist clients, projects and sales team via phone, web meetings and site visits.
  4. Provide background research support to sales team in project proposals, architectural drawings, project timelines, review of specifications, and contract documents.
  5. Work with marketing team on tailored campaigns including email.
  6. Utilize social media and networking to prospect target client base.
  7. Follow up on marketing generated leads.
  8. Represent Unitronics at trade shows.
  9. Create and maintain plans and contract files.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in inside sales (preferably in new construction projects).
  • Experience in construction with engineering knowledge or related industries is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or with technical focus.
  • Able to multi-task activities with shifting priorities in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.
  • Strong verbal, organizational, and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative, with the ability to work well in a team-environment.
  • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook.

We are seeking Field Service Technicians to support our new automated parking system installations in Cliffside Park, NJ.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
  2. Inspect assembled equipment to ensure proper installation.
  3. Performs routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper operation within expected tolerances.
  4. Tune and troubleshoot equipment, diagnose errors or technical problems.
  5. Assemble, align, repair and install electro-mechanical equipment as necessary and according to manufacturer’s specifications.
  6. Interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and repair equipment, utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools.
  7. Operate system to demonstrate equipment and to analyze malfunctions.
  8. May instruct and supervise workers in testing, servicing, tuning, adjusting and repairing equipment.
  9. Consult with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation and maintenance.
  10. Produce timely and detailed service reports.
  11. Work with technical teams and share information across the organization.
  12. Builds positive relationships with customers.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedule and location.

The Projects Director provides direction and leadership to the Project Management Team in the successful execution of assigned automated parking system projects. The Projects Director assists in the implementation and management of initiatives and contracts, working interactively with internal and external stakeholders. This is a new leadership role to support our aggressive growth.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support senior management team with comprehensive project management leadership.
  2. Develop strategy that ensures corporate objectives, revenue targets and contractual goals are met.
  3. Provide regular oversight on strategy implementation to senior management, escalating critical issues promptly.
  4. Devise solutions that enable timely delivery, ensure balanced workload, and adherence to contractual obligations.
  5. Provide regular overview to internal teams on project priorities, milestones, requirements, revised work plans and constraints to drive results.
  6. Responsible for the objective setting and performance management of the Project Management team.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years proven work experience in project management.
  • 5+ years in a technical supervisory role.

  • Experience with automated material handling/automated logistics applications or elevators/conveyors industry experience preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of relevant regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and execution.

  • Experience in managing construction projects with invoicing, scheduling, resource loading, change orders and project closeout.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) desirable.

The Superintendent will provide leadership and technical management in the construction of automated parking systems, ensuring on-time and on-budget work while maintaining a safe work environment and excellent client service. Assignment will require full time site presence on 1 to 2 sites dependent on the work schedule for multiple projects. Projects are located in Manhattan, Westchester, Brooklyn and Queens.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure that each project meets budget, code, contract and schedule requirements while delivering an excellent client experience.
  2. Create and implement project strategy that ensures all stakeholders are aware of their responsibilities, timelines and expectations.
  3. Direct the day to day work of Unitronics subcontractors to drive construction process of parking systems.
  4. Plan and schedule all subcontractor and Unitronics staff work assignments interfacing with the General Contractor.
  5. Supervise all site activities including safety, quality control, equipment delivery and schedules.
  6. Define the tools and equipment required to perform the work.
  7. Manage staging areas and work materials.
  8. Develop and maintain document control.
  9. Identify and promptly address any issues during the construction phase or deviations from the project.
  10. Conduct routine quality and safety inspections.
  11. Maintain timely and effective dialogue with the project team, client and corporate to ensure all are aware of project status and expectations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years direct experience supervising construction crews on mid-sized projects.
  • 2-5 years experience with multidiscipline projects.
  • Technical college degree preferred.
  • OSHA-30 Certification.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and project management software.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, and time management skills.

We are looking for a Mechanic Engineering Designer. In this role you will part of our mechanical design team and will be responsible for develop and deliver Mechanic designs to our products, support the integration and testing process in order to ensure that content, deadlines and targets are successfully achieved.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing/Re-design system parts /subsystems (machining, sheet metal , plastic injection etc.’)
  • Evaluates mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting POC, POD and other project tasks; applying principles of mechanics, Motion system, thermodynamics, hydraulics, and materials.
  • Performing simulations/calculations for the design is mandatory.
  • Conducting experiments methodically, Test planning and execution, analyzing data and interpreting results, integrating the designed systems.

Job Requirements:

  1. Degree in Mechanic Engineering is required B.Sc.
  2. Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience in design (machining, construction, sheet metal,).
